2008 Tenbury 10k Run Entry Form

It is with great honour that I welcome you to the Tenbury & District Round Table website, which is now in its second year. 

Over the last twelve months, I have personally experienced the highest of highs and unfortunately the lowest of lows and I can quite honestly say that I would not have liked to experience the highs without the good friends that I have made via Round Table and it is certainly possible that I wouldn’t have coped at the low times without their support and friendship. 

Round Table is all about raising funds for local needs, whilst having a good time and enjoying the fellowship of your fellow members.  We meet up every two weeks, normally trying to incorporate a fun night with a bite to eat and a few beverages.  Over the last twelve months we have enjoyed many good nights, such as bike rides, 4X4 off roading, go-karting and laser quest to name but a few.  

February 2008 saw the inaugural Tenbury Round Table ski holiday, when four of the members drove across Europe to St Anton in Austria.  The holiday proved such a success, that the planning is already in place for next year’s holiday. 

We hold two main events each year to raise funds for Charity. The Bonfire and Firework display is held on the first Saturday of November and usually attended by over 1500 visitors and the 10k Run now attracts in excess of two hundred runners each year.  These hugely successful events have enabled our organisation to donate money to a number of local worthwhile causes over the years. 

We are always keen to recruit new members to the organisation and I would strongly advise anyone interested in joining to have a good look through the website and then to contact our membership officer before joining us at a future meeting. 

I would like to take this opportunity to personally thank those who have contributed to the production of this website, which has helped us spread the word of Tenbury Round Table and even helped to recruit our newest member.
